Powerbuilder(3, 5), Visual basic, database design, development and implementation of sales force
automation applications. Distributed DB application for a sales staff of over 1000 using ASA 5 DBs on
laptops consolidating/synchronizing to an oracle(7.3) DB on an IBM mainframe and UNIX environments.
Synchronization and conflict resolution implemented through DB stored procedures in both ASA 5 and
oracle 7.3, signals and pipes and packages in oracle 7.3. Designed/Developed/Implemented a Sales
Automation system integrated with the Order fulfillment and WIP processes and commission/payroll
application. This involves synchronizing individual and managers DB's(Btrieve and ASA) on Laptops with
an oracle 7.3 DB, this done in the background with packages, pipes, jobs and signals. The system
implemented a complicated conflict resolution algorithm for approval of changes and orders written in
PL/SQL. Developed and configured price book application using Trilogy and VB to integrate with sales
force automation, manufacturing, GL, and AR to allow sales reps worldwide to create quotes in their local
currencies and/or Euros if necessary. ERWIN used as database design tool.
